When will payments be due?

The payment deadline for the first round of allocations will be the 10th of April for a 50% deposit, the rest being due by no later than the 5th of May. After that, unconfirmed slots will be reallocated on a rolling basis, and institutions will have two weeks to confirm the slots after having received the offer.

I need an invoice. What do I do?

Invoices will be distributed after the initial round of allocations. You can contact the registration team at reg.novisadeudc@gmail.com.

Can we sell slots?

Institutional adjudicator slots may be traded. Team spots can not be sold or bought – all allocations will be made by our team to ensure fairness.

My institution would like more slots, when is the next round of allocations?

Round 2 of allocations will be published around the 23rd of April. After that, we will reallocate slots on a rolling basis.

I missed the payment deadline, what do I do?

Email the registration team immediately at reg.novisadeudc@gmail.com and beg them for mercy. Once we have reallocated your slots, you can only get back at the bottom of the waiting list.

 

Will the Independent Adjudicator applications start at the same time?

The Independent Adjudicator applications will be conducted separately from the institutional registration. We will open applications on the 25th of March and close them on 8th April.

Who can apply as an Independent Adjudicator?

Anyone can apply, however applying does not automatically guarantee an IA slot. All applications will be evaluated by the CA Team.

How large is the IA budget?

The budget is set at 10.000 EUR for travel subsidies.

I applied as IA, when will I get an answer?

We aim to get back to everyone by the 22nd of April.

 

I would like to participate as a volunteer. What do I do?

You can apply by filling in this form. You have until Friday, April 20th.

What do you provide volunteers with?

We will provide international volunteers with accomodation and all volunteers will receive all meals during the tournament. Unfortunately we can not offer travel subsidies.

I already applied to volunteer, what now?

We will start reviewing applications after the deadline. You will hear from us as soon as we have made a decision.

 

How much is the registration fee?

The registration fee is 280 EUR per speaker/adjudicator and 400 EUR for observers.

How much is the deposit for the registration fee?

The deposit is 140 EUR/person.

What is included in the registration fee?

The registration fee covers accommodation in the hotel during the tournament (6 nights), 3 meals a day throughout the tournament, some free beverages at the socials, logistics and other tournament related expenses.

You will need your own cash (RSD) for e.g. drinks at some socials, souvenirs, other things you want to do in Novi Sad.

When will the rounds start?

The first rounds will take place on the 31st of July, but we strongly recommend arriving in Novi Sad no later than the 30th. A full schedule will be published soon.

How do I reach Novi Sad?

The closest airports are Belgrade (1 hr by car), Timisoara (2 hrs by car) or Budapest (3 hrs by car). If you┬┤re crossing a border you should plan an extra hour though.
